Credit card details for seller account
Hi,
Amazon are asking for credit card details for my new seller account. i had tried a debit card previously but apparently they don’t accept them so I’ve ordered a new credit card.
The issue is that the new credit card doesn’t have a a sort code or account number… but amazon is requesting that i provide a sort code and account number?? I’m confused! could anyone please help me.

As far as a I know, credit cards don’t have sort codes. Sort codes are for bank accounts and for associated debit cards only.

Make sure you are trying to add a charge method rather than change your deposit method.

They do accept debit cards - but will depend which bank.

A debit card will work once your Bank Account is established as Amazon set up a CCM and if your bank account is new with no history your bank will reject it.
