How AWD auto-replenishment quantities are calculated and triggered

After fielding some recent questions here on the forums around "Optimum level of supply" and how auto-replenishment quantities are calculated, I wanted to drop a quick primer to the community on the topic.

When the combined quantity of Available inventory in FBA network and Inventory in transit to FBA network falls below the Optimum level of supply for a specific ASIN, the Auto-Replenishment will be triggered during the next scheduled replenishment cycle to ensure the ASIN does not go out-of-stock. Each seller-ASIN will have its own optimal level, and this model runs 7 days a week to monitor inventory in the FBA network and determine if an Auto-Replenishment shipment needs to be triggered.

Mathematically, when:

Optimum level of supply

-available inventory in FCs

-inventory in transit to FCs

Auto-replenishment will be triggered.

To check upcoming auto-replenishment quantities for your ASINs, go to your AWD inventory dashboard and see the Replenishment from Amazon Warehousing and Distribution (AWD) to FBA network hep page for more info.
