For Account reactivation

Subject: Need Assistance with Account Reactivation Issue

Hi everyone,

I’m seeking help regarding an issue with my Amazon account. I received an email from Amazon stating:

You have been found to be related to an account beginning with Gera's. We received your submission but do not have enough information to reactivate your account at this time. To reactivate your account, please provide evidence that you have never owned a separate account and believe this deactivation was in error by providing supporting documentation. This includes but is not limited to any authorized or unauthorized relationship through a third-party company or evidence of account compromise. If we cannot substantiate the claim, your account will not be reinstated.

I am not aware of any account other than my current one and have not had any relationships with third-party companies related to this issue. Moreover, I am repeatedly receiving this email, despite my efforts to resolve the matter.

Has anyone experienced a similar issue or can offer advice on how to respond to Amazon? Any guidance or tips would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

I had a similar problem, finally just got it resolved today, after spending several hours trying to fix it. My account has been inactive for several months, but at the same time I was able to log into it and check on inventory, etc. Then about three weeks ago it said that my email was associated with several accounts and Amazon does not allow that. It made sense to me, as I only used my email for my one and only account. Supposedly was sent to a different department to fix. But after that, I was not able to log into my account at all, it just said “not authorized.” I spoke to an Amazon rep today, she suggested I put in my phone number as opposed to my email, and surprisingly my account came up. Hopefully that is the end! So much frustration and wasted time with this problem. Good luck with yours.

Typically when it comes to a multiple account policy violation, we will require proof of separation, in order to do this you will need to look over all personal and business related information in seller central or that has been used to maintain your account. Verify if anyone else including friends, family, relatives who may still or previously sold on amazon. If someone near you sells or sold on amazon inquire if their account was deactivated and inquire on their store name to help identify if their store may have caused this. Family and close friends have a tendency to create an indirect connection.

I know you mentioned that you have no relationship with any third parties, I would still suggest looking into the history of your account and if anyone else ever had access to your seller central account include user permissions, or if someone had ever helped you create, manage or run the store as whole.

It is extremely important to understand where the association came from as we currently only offer two paths for reactivation in these situations. Once you understand how this happened follow the steps below

The first is providing valid separation documentation that confirms a separation from the business or individual you were associated with, this will typically include but is not limited too a bill of sale, transfer of ownership, and contracts & termination agreements. These should ultimately show how or why the association was established and proof of separation.

The second option is if the requested documents do not exist or if they do not meet our requirements. As stated if you cannot provide documents, we will require the reactivation of this account beginning with Gera's prior to your store having the eligibility for reactivation.

The forums community and I are here to support you. Please let us know how we can help you from this point forward.

Emet.
