Royal Mail RCN Surcharge / Amazon Buy Shipping - Underdeclared Items
We are currently receiving a lot of underdeclared RCN surcharges from Royal Mail on invoices. These are false and we believe this is linked to the Amazon buy Shipping manifests and processing dates, there is clearly a link, process fault between RM and Amazon buy shipping. I was wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same issues. We are currently disputing this with Royal Mail.

It's more likely that RM are using those stupid automated machines to check parcel size again.
Those have been a repeated problem on and off for many sellers over the last few years. They're absolutely not fit for purpose and it's a travesty that they are legally allowed to use them.
If you have a search for Royal Mail Surcharges on the forums, you'll see plenty of examples. Keep complaining to RM. Ask them to send proof that their measurements are correct and if they refuse, ask for the address to send a 'Letter Before Action'.
