Amazon Login OTP Problems
Ive just had a nightmare trying login.
After entering password I usually get a screen asking me for the OTP sent to my phone. However, today I got a screen asking me how did I want to receive the OTP - Authenticator app, text to phone or email.
I clicked the 'text to phone' option and immediately get told I cannot request a new OTP for a minute. In the meantime the OTP does arrive at my phone but I have no box to enter it - only the choices above asking me how do I want to receive it. As such I am unable to give Amazon the OTP I have received.
I had to go through the process several times before I finally got a box to enter the OTP. In the meantime I have received multiple OTPs on my phone for each time I have asked for it to be sent. I now have to be careful and enter the last one sent otherwise it gets rejected.

Yeah it happened to me the other week on my personal account.
All I could do was start a new browser session about 30 minutes later which seemed to fix the issue.
I can't recommend enough though, if possible, that you get an Authenticator App (though I appreciate this needs a smartphone). But its not reliant on mobile signal or anything, and it always works.

I actually have an authenticator app on my phone.
Trouble was it was downstairs and I was being too lazy to fetch it lol. The text OTP is also sent to my watch which I had on so I wanted use that method.
But really it should not have been happening at all in the first place. Seems like a bad coding problem.

If you're using chrome there is an authenticator chrome extension simply called "Authenticator" its what I use on my desktop.

Thanks. I did not know that and will look into it.
