Same Day Dispatch Issues
Just checking in with my fellow sellers,
I have noticed random sales coming through that are designated "same day dispatch", my initial thoughts were that Amz have amended my handling time again to automated, but upon checking this is still set to 1 day handling and automated handling time is not active. Most orders are as expected (next day dispatch), but the odd one or two are slipping through as same day.
I have 1 day handling as a default as I leave home and go out to work on some days, so cannot guarantee getting my orders out same day.
I have managed to catch and dispatch on time the two that have come through incorrectly, but this is by luck and not judgement.
Just wondering if I am alone with this issue, or if others have / are experiencing it.
Haven't created a case with SS, because, well, you know why.
Hoping this is a temporary glitch.

Hi not exactly the same but we are having similar issues where our handling time is higher but the orders are asking us to deliver same day or next depending on the time. I have double checked automated handling time is disabled, double checked asin to make sure they have the right handling time on them and it all seems to be ok. I have raised a case and was looking through forum to see if anyone else is having the same issue and you are the only other one I have seen. Our issue started around 3 days ago(6th July), is it the same for you?
Seller_HMxMRdomHkjHi
yes I posted something on this same subject a few weeks ago but didn't get a response. I get odd orders like this. Item purchased 9.30am and dispatch given as that day. It is not orders that have been pending either. It is not all orders but probably 2 or 3 a week. A lot of the time it's not doable but when I purchase postage via Amazon the dispatch is the following day.

Here's another thread that seems to have the same problem, posted just before yours :

Hello sellers, and thank you to @Seller_tHDZMh56pq7gX for starting this thread on the recent issues with handling time you have all seen recently. Thank you in advance for your patience while we partner with the necessary teams on the feedback that you all have provided.
I wanted to provide an update that we've already notified the appropriate internal team, who are actively investigating this issue, and we will continue contact here with additional details as they become available.
In the meantime, our internal partners have confirmed that sellers should be able to send a new update to their currently configured handling time if it's currently not being applied. This should ultimately prevent new incoming orders from being impacted. The update should be different than the previous configured handling time, either with a different inventory quantity or SKU handling time.
Thank you all for you patience and understanding while we continue to look into this for you!

Hello,
We've also had an issue last 2x weeks with all FBM orders coming through the API as "Priority" to our ERP, with SSA switched on
This has never happened before and likely connected -
Thank you

We have been having the same issue for weeks now (since the last week of July). Our handling time is set to 2 days for all ASINs but every single order has come through with next-day dispatch. All business customer orders are coming through with same-day dispatch. Initially we thought it was an issue caused by deactivated listings being re-activated, but we edited all ASINs to ensure correct dispatch times, with no impact to the actual dispatch time coming through on orders.
We have raised a case with SS but there has been no movement on it for 2 weeks (besides updates to say they are still looking in to it and they will proactively work to remove any account defects).

Not too long ago, Amazon changed our cut off time for what they consider to be part of the previous working day.
Orders placed in the early morning are now considered to have been placed the previous day, so if an order came through at 5am with a 1 day handling time, then we were expected to send it on that calendar day.
If you check the times the orders were placed, could it be that this was changed for you too and you just didn't get the notification?
