We have been contacting the customer service team many times and had a call with them to let know we have submitted the document many times, and every time, we uploaded the document that always meet the requirement. We believe the documents we have already provided should be sufficient for identity verification. It seems unreasonable to keep requesting an additional document for the same verification process.
A passport, tax bill, ID card for marital status verification, and a telephone bill. These are listed as acceptable by Amazon. We provided the ID card for marital status verification because Amazon stated that the beneficial owner is not the taxpayer, but the spouse. Despite offering this, it was still deemed insufficient. We were then informed that a telephone bill would be acceptable, which we also provided. However, we are now being asked to submit a bank document.
The customer service team have escalated our request third to the verification team for further investigation, we have not received any response. We asked our employers to contact the bank to require the letter for submission because we don’t think our requests were being reviewed. We have lost the sales opportunities during the BFCM.
The tax document cannot be in the spouse's name - has to be the beneficial owner. All the info is required to be in the name of the beneficial owner.
