Clothing Size Variations
Hello, i’m having trouble with a recent update amazon made with variations.
I have to select two of these or it shows red (Size & Shirt Size)
It now has to options to add which seem to contradict each other, and both have to be added or it errors.
If i just use the bottom way of adding (size) it will display the following error:
Then if i add the other way too it’s going to create a bunch of invalid variations the only way i’ve been able to add is then go through manually and delete the invalid ones
Can someone please explain to me what i’m doing wrong?
Thanks

Check the forum - already a few threads about the same issue.

In short, you’re not doing anything wrong. The Upload tool is the problem. You’ll either need to use the ‘Add a Product Via Upload’ function or create the Child ASINs first, then combine them as Variants under a Parent afterwards, which will likely also require using the ‘Add a Product Via Upload’ to do.

Having the same issue here and it essential creates a ‘third variation property’ so you can’t have color and size with adding in apparel size and so for a product with one colour and 5 sizes it wants me to create 30 items with the same skus and EANs and then go in back afterwards and delete them. However, it won’t allow me to save the UI version I’ve created and the upload via the category form seems to want the parent SKU to have been created already? Which just can’t be done.
