Buyer Seller Messaging
I have tried in vain to use Buyer-Seller Messaging. Of course not replying to a customer is a cardinal sin, so I’m completely in the Amazon doghouse. But I write my message, try to send, and am told there’s a field I haven’t filled…but I can’t this ‘field’ so I can’t send the message. Feels overly complicated.

That is really odd. So, this is on messages that you are just trying to reply to it sounds like, so the only thing you should need to do is type the reply in the reply box and click on, "Send". I haven't ever run across this issue. I just responded to a buyer yesterday with no problems. You may want to try clearing your cookies and cache in your browser and see if that helps, and if not, try a different browser to see if that makes a difference.

To reply to a message you can just reply through your "home" email system. It goes through buyer/seller messaging anyway.

I've never run across this, but have to ask if you are responding on a computer or using the app on your phone?
Perhaps try the other one and see if you have the same issue.
