Can someone please explain why I now have a stranded inventory error?

Not without more info. Sometimes i’ve seen it happen temporarily, but generally it’s because there’s an issue that needs your attention. You should be able to see the reason.

It might just fix itself when your items are checked in, were they all barcoded?

This happened to me recently. If you click the drop down down arrow at the side and click refresh - it should refresh the reason and if the issue has been resolved it should then move out of the stranded inventory. Mine didn’t and I had to contact Amazon who then did it for me.
