GFSI or HACCP certification
Hello guys, I’m a private label retailer selling supplements. I got an email this morning from amazon asking me to supply GFSI or HACCP certificate. I’m not manufacturing my product, so I presume I can’t have this document. When I asked my manufacturer, they said they don’t have it either. They are in the process of getting this certification. They have sent me the food safety certificate and the certificate according to the manufacture of food supplements in Sweden. Has anybody had a similar experience? I got time until the 28th of October to submit the certification, and I am a bit nervous if what they sent me is enough. We all know Amazon:)
Thank You for your help

Doesn’t that ring alarm bells for you?

As a private label retailer, this requirement falls on you
Supplements are such a risky product to be private labelling
Do you have any knowledge, pharmaceutical etc in this business ?

How about an ISO22000 certificate? Would anyone know if that would suffice given that it covers HACCP standards?

We use a contract manufacturer for our brand. however in the ASIN listing we have our brand as the manufacturer. Should we change this to the name of our contract manufacturer, as amazon is not accepting their certs and our products are now being deactivated.
