Always amazed at the number of threads with NO answers whatsoever. Fully understand that the forum mods (community managers?) cannot read every thread, but even threads with numerous mods tagged in often never get a response from any mod :((

Hi @Indy_Amazon
Please could you read the thread entitled "Forum Threads with Nested Replies" which is, I think, self explanatory

There are lots of other technical issues with seller central itself and the catalogue that have still not been rectified despite numerous posts on the forum.
I'm not referring to issues that affect individual sellers but site-wide problems, especially the issues I outlined in this thread:
https://sellercentral.amazon.co.uk/seller-forums/discussions/t/44d5dc06-0b4f-4612-abe3-9a74ccb9d9d8
It's 3 months since I raised that and still no resolution.
A new issue is the disappearance of all the links in the seller-central homepage:
https://sellercentral.amazon.co.uk/seller-forums/discussions/t/57205f22-ab4a-417a-b29e-497e85329e90
I mention these issues because they are problems that potentially affect all sellers but are also beyond the remit of Seller Support.
Perhaps there needs to be a new forum category specifically for reporting site-wide glitches and technical problems ?

Hi @Indy_Amazon
Something about the Forums that I find irritating...
As far as I can tell anyone can "downtick" for any reason.
Some seem to do so when they think information presented is inaccurate, some, because they disagree with what is being stated, and some because they don't like what is being said e.g. I don't think Amazon will ever do that...
Notifications tell you when you get an "uptick" but not the opposite, and as only "upticks" can be identified by an icon you never get to find out who or why a negative has been recorded
Can you be barred from the Forums for having too many "downticks"? There seems to be at least one Forumite who showers "downticks" on anything they disagree with or dislike....
All Best

Having tagged a dozen or so moderators into my recent post without a single reply it really does not fill me with any confidence i'm afraid!

There are loads of occasions when mods say they will follow up but never do. I can't think of a case when anything brought up on the forums has been acted on or resolved. There needs to be feedback provided on the steps taken and the outcome.

"Did you get what you need from the Seller Forums today?"
No, we haven't. Not today, not yesterday, not last week or any time in the last month since we opened a thread asking for help.
We had our Amazon US account deactivated because Amazon's bots trashed our account and generated too many violations - all false positives. This has been a known issue for years. Despite them all being struck down, simply having the violations created in the first place led to our account deactivation.
We're stuck, completely unable to get anyone to assist because there's no pathway for Amazon to admit they got it all wrong. We are going round and round with the appeals and account health team with robotic answers that do not address the issue. We created a thread on the forums about it, here:
https://sellercentral.amazon.com/seller-forums/discussions/t/26b00a56-da10-4b73-98f5-4d4d58699028
We have received absolutely no assistance whatsoever. A mod commented to say that we hadn't been forgotten about - only to promptly forget about us. Of the 12 posts on that thread, 10 are us howling into the void.
So have we got what we needed from the seller forums? No, we have not.

I'm sorry to say that this Seller Forum in it's current format is simply not fit for purpose. But you must already know that!

A properly functioning seller support with ACCOUNTABILITY and COMPETENCE is all that is required.

@Indy_Amazon - You asked, we answered, and hopefully the replies on your thread will indicate to you, and the other forum mods (community managers) just what many of us think about the forum and the problems. 16 thumbs down should be indicative, and the many thumbs up for a lot of the other posts. PLEASE - we are the ones who use the forum - why can it not be geared to the preference of the majority ?
