Customer requested return but hasn't returned the item
Hi all,
I have had a customer request a return for a product that is no longer needed (Fair enough), I have returns on auto accept so it has already been approved (Not refunded though).
But it has been 16 days and I have still not received and it doesn’t look like the couriers have it yet either, what will happen? Will the request just sit on my seller account until I have it back and action the refund? Or will it be auto refunded without me receiving the item back?
I have messaged the buyer twice asking if it has been sent with no reply.

having said that I have had returns posted over a month after the request was made . I now specify a time frame on the return comments to the buyer when I authorize it

All returns are auto authorised unless they’re out of policy. Don’t think you can officially specify a time frame for return either other than as per the policy

Lots do not return, unless it is tracking and it sems lost, do not message the Buyer.
In the details (default) to say when to return by, which is 14 days from date RMA authorised, or 30 days from date item received, whichever is the longest.
Note has to be as new, etc.
If a high priced item, suggest not to use the Hermes label, as no transit cover
