I planning to change legal identity on my account at Amazon from Ltd to Sole Trader.

How to plan and do it without major complications?

Hi,

I'm wondering if anyone has any experience of switching from a partnership to a sole trader on Amazon?

I was in a partnership until recently but my business partner has now left the business. Legally speaking now, I am a sole trader rather than a partnership.

Unsure as to how to go about getting this changed on Amazon. Can't see a way to simply remove my business partner's details.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am currently registered as a sole trader in amazon and been selling from 14 months on amazon.

Now, my sales has exceeded the UK VAT threshold of £85,000 and I am required to provide the VAT Number.

My accountant suggested to register for a limited company instead and apply VAT for limited company rather than sole trader.

My company address would be different to my current sole trader address.

Can anyone guide me through the process to transfter sole trader to limited company with a new address ? Like, what all documents do I need to gather (and from where) before initiating the process ?

I would really appreciate the help.
