What is wrong with amazon?
during the last RM strikes we put amazon on holiday setting and took them off to day, we wrongly assumed that now RM themselves has stated the last post date for RM48 is the 12th. We started taking orders again today after 2pm (so dispatch date is Friday 16th) but for some reason the deliver by date is 20th to 21st.
Is amazon deliberately misleading customers? because I’m reporting them and I encourage anyone else to do the same, I am even considering legal action myself as they are, 1. knowingly displaying false information. 2. effecting my business which is costing me time and money dealing with extra work caused by buyers and lastly the resulting negative feedback that will effect sales.
THEY ARE A JOKE!

But they would only, in theory, display delivery dates based on your Shipping template and Handling Time.
What is that set to?

We use tracked 48 and the delivery dates during all these strikes on our order page have always been unrealistic but when we check the actual listings (what the customer sees) the deliver by dates are more reasonable. For example, orders coming through today with 1 day handling time and automatic shipping on, Amazon are telling us that they need to be despatched tomorrow (16th) for delivery on the 20th - that’s very unlikely to happen. However, if we click on our listing today, the delivery date showing to customers is the 29th . So your customers may be seeing a different delivery date than you.
