Amazon wont let me ship when i have expiry date - Expiry-dated FBA inventory is not eligible for sending to Amazon using a manufacturer barcode. Please apply an Amazon barcode label

I have been trying to ship 100 units of a skincare product, but whenever i try to ship it ask for an expiry date.

I give the expiry date and then it says i need to label the products, but gives me no options anywhere to do that.

Before today i never had to provide a date and is there a way with Amazon fba that amazon labels the units in their warehouse?

You may need to create a new sku and try again

You need to set it to amazon barcode then instead of manufacturers
You can either label yourself, or pay amazon to do it.
I believe for Standard fba it’s roughly 15p per label

You need to watch that one.
I used Amazon to label some products and on the shipping plan, it quotes 15p per unit. Yet when the bill came in, I got charged 25p per unit!

Sorry yes , I should’ve said FROM 15p

FBA Label Service fee

For items enrolled in standard FBA, you will be charged a per-item fee of £0.15 for envelopes (maximum height is 5 cm), £0.25 for parcels and £0.35 for oversize items. To learn about label service fees for products that are enrolled in FBA Small and Light, go to FBA Prep Service

I wasn’t pulling you. I just got very annoyed with them, as the cost was different from what was quoted on the plan!

Hello @Fast_and_Novel,

I`m glad to see that the issues had been resolved and I take the occasion to send a big thank you to @The_Little_Shop and @NEil.

Here you can find more info and details on expiration dates and label for FBA.

Please also keep in mind to keep track of the expiration dates of the lot that you are sending to FBA in case of restock.
At the time of check-in at the Amazon fulfilment centre, all products must have a remaining shelf life that allows sufficient time for the product to be consumed in full, plus an additional 90 days.

Regards
Nickolas
