GS1 database update delay (72 hours) before being allowed to add product listing
So all of a sudden when I am trying to add products (manually) I am getting pop up error messages saying that the code does not match EAN, UPC etc. Reading the help pages it seems that since Friday when I last added a product the system is now checking the GS1 entries before allowing you to submit a new product. However, it also states that from entering the details on the GS1 system it can take up to three days before you can enter it on to Amazon. What is a realistic timeframe people on here have seen?

Yes many sellers , including SS have said to wait 72 hours from registering with GS1
Just checking though from another thread you posted on, what brand name you are using if you are not brand registered ?

I find GS1 system very weird it never recognises products from one of the UK biggest manufacturers of sports goods as according to GSI some Liverpool fc products are owned by an American country and western singer, Irish national sports goods are owned by an American equestrian company and another varaition is owned by a German heating company according to GS1 so all of these goods get blocked by Amazon
