Alternative to UPS - FBA UK
We are having real problems with UPS collecting our parcels, as they won’t come before 5pm (even if booked out the day before), as they say they are too busy (many times, the driver rejects the collection, and we have to wait until the next day),
When we have complained to the depot we have been told “tough, they don’t route to our industrial estate before 5, and that the Amazon FBA contact is arranged by head office, so is not a depot problem”
I like the simplicity of UPS through Amazon PCP, but cannot keep fighting daily to get collections (we have between 4-12 boxes a day going up)
So… from the “other carrier” section on the FBA Shipment list - who would you recommend, does this mean you have to pay the courier, and get an account with them? -
When Amazon get too busy and the UPS get rebooked in, does this cause an issue with using other couriers / getting charges?
Any help, as UPS are making this MUCH harder than it needs to be
Thanks

THanks for your replies, have sent messages to DPD and DHL asking them to contact me to open an account, so I can get some quotes, - the Manchester UPS depot, are just prats, the depot manager literally said (when I was questioning why they had forgot the pick up) - we are busy, we don’t care about the Amazon FBA contract that was head office sorting it out, not us in the field.
Seems I am caught between head office and depot fight, as the depot do not want to put another driver on in our area earlier than last thing (on Thursday after he collected ours, he had to ring the next few collections and tell them he was not coming no room on van - all my items had been booked out the day before, so no excuse really)
