WEEE number removed by amazon

The majority of our listings have been deactivated because Amazon is requiring us to resubmit our WEEE numbers. We have followed all the rules, yet now we’re forced to wait up to 5 days for them to process this. This is entirely unacceptable on Amazon’s part.

Additionally, we have received two emails from amazon withing 2 hours when this happened. The first email was telling us that Amazon was unable to verify the compliance and that our listings were deactivated (there was no notice about this, they just deactivated them)

The second email said: Hello, We know that some sellers have received phishing emails that appear to be Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) Packaging notifications and ask you to provide LUCID numbers and a shipping address.

All very concerning, has anyone had similar experience?
