Delivering to FBA Warehouse

H there,

I have sent my first box of stock via UK courier DPD to Amazon fullfillment warehouse.
I noticed on the DPD app my package is ‘resting’ at a DPD depot.

I phoned DPD up and they said “Amazon need to let us know when we can send it/Amazon control the whole process.”

Can anyone shed light on this please?

I have checked my FBA settings on the Amazon Seller site and everything looks in order and I have provided the DPD courier tracking number etc.
Will this sort itself out - should it take a few days? - or have I missed something?

Any help much appreciated.

Yes, it will sort itself out. It usually takes a day or two to arrive in the warehouse but it can sometimes take weeks.

Quite normal. Couriers have allocated time slots for making deliveries and when Amazon are busy they sometimes ask couriers not to deliver and hold the shipment until they have capacity.
