Size limit on FBA items

Our company tried to send in an item which measured 121 x 91 x 2cm and weighed 9kg into FBA a year or so ago but amazon rejected the item saying it was too large and charged us for them sending the items back to our warehouse. However we’ve noticed recently that there are replica items the same size and weight as ours being sold using prime and marked as fulfilled by amazon. We don’t want to risk our items being rejected again and the ‘restrictions for FBA inventory’ help page is down on our server.

TL/DR Does anyone know the current size limit for items sent into FBA?

These were the guidelines on size.

Oversize:
Longer than 45cm L x 35cm W x 20cm H and weighs less than 9kg
Total of Length, Width and Height is less than 170cm
1 item per box

Extra-Oversize:
Total of Length, Width and Heights is over 170cm and less than 200cm.
The longest side is shorter than 90cm
Weighs less than 40kg
1 item per box

According to the latest rates card (which Rugsy has kindly provided) it would appear your item is too big unfortunately. Are the FBA coming from Amazon themselves or a third party seller?

I found this additional info on a recent question about maximum FBA size. It was posted by a mod. It somewhat contradicts the rate card though but I guess like any complex beast like Amazon, there is bound to be such discrepancies.

You can find this information on the FBA prohibited products help page 2.

In term of size and weight, you cannot send to FBA any product greater than 150 cm in length, weighs more than 30 kg or has a girth of more than 3 metres: girth = (2 x height) + (2 x width) + length.

I can’t see a definition of what is the length, what is the width and what is the height so depending on how you work it out, your item may or may not be acceptable.
