Power of Attorney
Hello, I am losing the will to live!
Amazon have stopped me selling until I upload a Power of Attorney letter (this was only done in June) and now they want another. I used a direct link to a template last time but I can't seem to find it now. Anyone know where I can find this.
Thank you

Are you sure it is a Power of Attorney they want ? - it's just that they have used that term before, when they are actually just wanting proof of your UTR or another document from HMRC such as Notice to Complete Self-assessment etc.

Hi there - i recently through the same process and received an email last week to say that my info has now been verified. On your "account info" does it show the "identity information" in red - and when you click on it , it looks like amazon want a power of attorney letter. I was stuck with that for a week - as a sole trader , did they want me to draft a letter saying that i was giving myself authority to operate my own business !
Found an old thread in the forum from around 6 months ago and a reply said that amazon are looking for confirmation of your UTR number - as seen on a self assessment statement etc.
I logged in to my HMRC account , had to click a few buttons to find info (dont use the account very often) and found a link that says "statements" - which then lists all of your self assessment statements - downloaded the most recent - then went to the box on amazon that asks for power of attorney , uploaded and submitted it for approval - 3 days later - sorted !
The little box at top of the page that says you currently have selling restrictions has also now disappeared
If you are still stuck with this - then i hope this is of some help to you
