Cancellation requests on delivered orders

I’ve had 2 buyers request a cancellation in the last 24 hours but they’re both for orders which the tracking shows delivered. How are they able to do do that?
I’ve replied to both saying return for a refund and given the return address but I didnt think the cancellation option was available for an order thats been dispatched?

Hi they should be showing as return requests just hit authorise select your options on the form and refund when you get them back in

The messages are coming direct from the buyers, not customer services I dont think, as I didnt get the ‘we have been contacted by a mutual customer’ email, just the cancellation email itself.
Both orders to both buyers have been delivered, and both buyers been told to return for a refund but I dont understand how they’ve been able to send the request in the first place. All orders are marked dispatched and tracking added as they’re done.

and why does it say I sent it 23 minutes before it was ordered? :woman_facepalming:

I also get several of these for items which have been delivered and accepted. If they have not also sent a return request chances are they could be trying it on. I simply reply stating what the tracking shows and 99% of the time thats the last I hear.

Happens all the time, just reply stating that’s it’s already been shipped. They can return if they want at their own expense.
I find about 50% never return the item.

• If you have dispatched and confirmed the order, tell the buyer that the order is already on its way and ask them to return it to you for a refund.
