Does the order status change from shipped to delivered for non tracked parcels?

Hello there,

I’m a new seller and still trying to get grips with Amazon seller account. I’m shipping my products using Royal mail large letter postage without any tracking. I’ve sent a few items with no complaints of late delivery from customers so I’m guessing that they’ve received them. Is there a way to change to ‘delivered’ at all or is it ok if the orders remain in the ‘shipped’ status?

Thank you very much in advance

7-14 days, depending on your account but as a new seller you may have to wait longer for your first payment, to ensure there are no complaints or problems. You can see whether and when you’ve got any money due by clicking on Reports then Payments in your account pages

You can’t change the status at all. Amazon will show it as “Shipped” when you tell them that you’ve done so but it won’t change to anything else after that. If you use a tracked service, the status will be updated by the carrier (Royal Mail, DPD or whoever) on their website, but nothing will change on the Amazon site. If you’re not using a tracked service, how could you possibly know if it’s been delivered or not?
