Urgent Help Needed For GTIN Issue

604 of our listing deactivated due to following issue.

"this ASIN has GTIN codes that do not match the brand associated to the ASIN. GTIN codes are reliable data that are used to limit duplicate products in the catalogue and ensure product authenticity. We verify the authenticity of GTINs by checking the GS1 database and GTINs that do not match information in GS1 are considered invalid. We recommend obtaining your GTINs directly from GS1 (and not from other third parties selling GTIN licences) to ensure the appropriate information is reflected in the GS1 database. If you believe we have removed your ASIN in error, contact Selling Partner Support"

GS1 account is owned by this seller account. We provided this information many times but seller support keep sending same automated emails and creating a greater dissapointment.

So simply we are A LTD, owns the GS1 vertificate and all those EAN numbers belongs to us and directly acquired from GS1 (certificate attached), and trademark owner of Brand B which is registered by A LTD and we own this seller account as A LTD.

So Brand B is a registered trademark of A LTD and we are the manufacturer and sole seller of our products.

It is so embarrasing that seller support cannot provide a solution for a very simple problem like this.

GS1 system shows all our EANs are verified and it can be confirmed by there.

FYI, this issue affect 604 listing however more than 700 listing doesn't have any issue while everything is exactly same.

Under same brand, company, same gs1 barcodes :)

We don't even know why only 604 of all our listing, there is no even pattern. imaging we sell tshirt with different color blue and red has this problem but black, grey and white doesn't.

We understand that your system might be broken but it has to be easy solution for your broken system to be corrected?

Any idea how to fix this issues?

I wanted to stop by and let you know that I took a look at the 4 case ID's shared below and see that you are actively working with Selling Partner Support on all of them. Upon further review, each case has an associated ticket which Selling Partner Support has reached out to the relevant partner team for assistance and are just awaiting a response from the partner team.

I'd recommend continuing to monitor the cases until their closure. If you have any further questions or concerns once the cases close out, please don't hesitate to reach back out to us on the forums and we would be happy to assist where we can.

@DeandDe - We are experiencing the exact same issue:

Our Situation:

  • 248 Brand Registry listings suspended since October 10th (10+ days)
  • We own legitimate GS1 UK certificate purchased directly from GS1
  • We are registered trademark owner (UK registered)
  • We are manufacturer and sole seller
  • All brand ownership documents verified multiple times
  • Case transferred through 14+ agents
  • Each agent requests same documents without reading case thread
  • Only automated "please wait" responses

Case ID: 11595007842

Your observation about "no pattern" is critical - this proves it's a system bug, not a compliance issue. Some of our listings are fine, others suspended, all under same brand/GS1.

@Cooper_Amazon - With respect, "wait for partner team" is not acceptable when multiple legitimate brand owners have been unable to trade for 10+ days due to what appears to be a technical bug in Brand Registry's GTIN verification system.

This requires escalation to Brand Registry Engineering/Technical Leadership, not just standard support.

We have escalated to executive teams.

Recommendation to @DeandDe and others affected: Escalate beyond standard support - this appears to be a systemic technical issue.
