Business Insurance for US sales from the UK
Morning All, Happy Friday !
Does anyone have any experience selling into the US and needing to provide a policy that covers US sales. Once over a $$ threshold one needs to have liability insurance that names “Amazon LLC and its affiliates and assignees”.
I passed that threshold in the Winter and I’m hoping my insurer has got me some cover. It’s really expensive and I’m not 100% sure Amazon will accept it.
Amazon mentions an “Insurance Accelerator” in the business insurance detail page, does anyone have any experience with them?

Hoping? Shouldn’t you check on that?
By the way, I believe the $$ threshold is at Amazon’s discretion. They may insist that you have insurance from the start.
Can I take it you’ve not yet actually sold anything in the US?
