Amazon placed REVIEW LIMITS on my ASINs - Pls help
Hi everyone,
Has anyone come across the below scenario who can help? If so:
- How did you get them to remove the review limit?
- How long does it take for the limit to be removed so my legitimate customers can leave reviews again?
** scenario **
A customer tried leaving a review and got the on screen message:
“Sorry, we are unable to accept reviews for this product. This product has limitations on submitting reviews. There can be a number of reasons for this, including unusual reviewing activity”
I have spoken to FBA numerous times who keep referring me to the Communities team who literally say:
- It’s due to unusual reviewing behaviour so they’ve placed limits on verified purchase reviews
- ALSO they’re unable to determine when limits will be removed so my customers can leave reviews again and state that customers are free to try submitting reviews later (leaving me in the dark on when reviews can be submitted again)
Note: I didn’t do a mass promo to get reviews, all are legitimate verified purchases (most coming from my Website and Instagram @the.curious.consumer) and therefore don’t understand what is happening. Hope you can help with the 2 questions above.

Whenever Amazon detects an unusual reviewing behavior such as a suspiciously high reviewing rate, which is significantly higher than on similar listings in the same category, it blocks the ability of buyers to leave product reviews or sometimes wipes out all of them.
There is nothing you can do with it. Amazon will now investigate the remaining reviews, which can take anything from a few weeks to a few months and meanwhile the reviewing ability will be restricted.
