Read onlyHi everyone,
If someone can confirm this for me, we don't need to add GSPR info to our Amazon UK store/products? We don't sell to the EU, but we do sell to Northern Ireland...do we need to remove Northern Ireland as a delivery option?
Regards
I'll link to Amazons GPSR policy page - because its all the moderators will do
From this page 'The GPSR will not apply in Great Britain (England, Scotland and Wales). It will, however, apply in Northern Ireland'
Also from the same page...'For listings on our UK-based store, you don’t need to submit any information to Amazon'
Amazon have not clarified how those two statements can co-exist. The assuption would be is that you do remove NI as a location if you cannot fulfil the requirements of GPSR and you should be OK. But you can't do that if doing FBA or SFP.
Hi, This is a question I have been asking myself. I have just had this reply from seller support. We have switched off NI in our postal settings as a precaution.
Hello from Amazon Selling Partner Support,
I understand that you’re contacting us regarding GPRS (General Product Safety Regulations).
Please be informed that the offer on UK based seller do not need to comply with this new legislation (hence will not be enforced)
If GSPR info is missing, we will only restrict shipping to northern Ireland addresses (not remove the offer).
