Error 8541 - on Category - Item Type Keyword
Hi Everyone,
I'm getting an error 8541 regarding the Item Type Keyword (category browse node) with one of my listings. It seems like a technical glitch at Amazon.
Any ideas on how to fix this? I contacted Seller Support already. They have asked me to delete the listing and recreate the listing after 24 hours but I am not comfortable in doing this, having the risk of losing the inventory and ASIN.
The system automatically selected the suggested category browse node when I created the Parent ASIN. The ASIN, having this issue is the child ASIN linked to Parent ASIN.
Please note that the Parent ASIN and other Child ASIN, for Red Color variation, have no errors; the same Product category was selected.
It seems like a technical glitch at Amazon where many sellers are suffering from this error, but seller support representatives are not able to advise and resolve it effectively.
Appreciate it if someone could guide me better.
Thank you.

Same thing here.
I reached out to Seller Support on Amazon with no results.
I reached out to Amazon Seller Help on Twitter with no results.
I reached out to Brand Support with no results.
Now where can I go to ask for help? Seems nowhere.
I thought I was the only unlucky seller who got listing errors. Not just me, but many other sellers.
Yes. It is pretty likely a glitch that just occurred lately.
The affected listings are still active, which counts as a blessing. As long as they are running I would just sit tight and wait. Nothing we can do at this moment.

Hello @Seller_F8hrXP5TgaxxQ- thanks for posting this situation to forums. Danny from Amazon here hoping to be of service, though I may require some additional context in order to advise properly. Would you mind sharing one of your cases with support if this issue is still on going that I could use to view the item specifics? Thanks in advance!
In the meantime, you might find this helpful video on completing variations via a file update to be insightful!
