How hard is it to get banned selling fake items?

Just an interesting observation - white there are a lot of stories here with sellers being permanently banned (sometimes for silly reasons), it appears it is entirely possible to keep selling for almost 2 months now with negative feedback clearly stating the product is fake:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/sp?ie=UTF8&seller=A2V64M5TZZ2SQC&asin=B09JW8R73R&ref_=dp_merchant_link&isAmazonFulfilled=1

So out of 5 reviews, 4 are 1 star. These were removed by Amazon as FBA responsibility. I didn’t know FBA takes responsibility if I were to send them fake goods and my customers complain?
What happened with Authenticity claims? 3 ASINS new seller checks?

Personally I’m going to be watching this “seller”, very curious when Amazon’s hammer finally drops…

I found a listing for fake Nintendo cartridges, it actually said on the ASIN that they were good brand new copies. I reported to Amazon their reply was this is the wrong place to report this kind of violation go through brand registry. It’s not my brand I was just making them aware, still being sold now so your answer is it’s quite hard to get banned :man_facepalming:

There are many sellers with this sort of feedback. There was a thread about 6 months ago on a similar theme. I remember posting a comment about a seller who had literally 100s of these strike outs. I made the same comment as you “what has being fake got to do with Amazon fullfillment?” The common thread with the sellers I was looking at at the time was that they were all chinese sellers or selling Chinese goods

It is easy for Ali baba sellers to sell fakes on Amazon. all they have to do is buy the GS1 codeand register their brand with GS1 and Amazon accepts it as a geniune product as they accept all GS1 codes as authentic no matter if they are or not.
In my sales area over 80% of authentic goods are being removed as the original world famous brands do not use GS1 for thier brand. when I search on Amazon for my own products i normally see 2 authentic and 12 to 15 fakes on page one of the search.

Amazon have been, perhaps still are, selling counterfeit copies of my books. It was a real struggle to stop this theft of my intellectual property which is very hard work, and expensive, to produce. I have asked for compensation from Amazon and been told to send a paper letter - really - by mail to Amazon’s head office. In short, small traders like us have no chance of being treated by an immense, pan national company like Amazon. Anyone who doubts the veracity of what I am saying can contact me through our website and I will happily share the e-mails from Amazon proving what I say.

I’d say its a fake account too as CH has them registered as a Joiner / building services

I recall a thread from someone else recently and I’m sure it was about the same account
There was another one too whereby someone only realised their friends company (again a builder) was being fraudulently used when they started getting amazon returns and they found their details being used on an account offering shipment from abroad
