Printer suggestion for Amazon Shipment Box Labels / FNSKU Labels
Hi Everyone,
Any suggestions on a laserjet monochrome printer that can be used for printing Amazon shipment box labels (A4 plain paper) and FNSKU labels (A4 Sticker sheet)
Preferably wireless with the economical printing cost will be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks @Demel
Since I started in September 2020,
I have printed
Approx 15 sheets for Shipment box labels (A4 sheets)
Approx 15 Sheets for A4 FNSKU (44 sheets per page)
Approx 15 Sheets for A4 FNSKU (27 sheets per page)
Any suggestions keeping these above figures in mind?

If you are attaching the box labels inside a plastic see through envelope then a cheap inkjet is fine.
If you are attaching the box labels by sellotaping the edges to the box then I would go for a cheap laser.
Inkjet ink tends to run when/if it gets wet. Laser doesn’t.
Laser toners are usually more expensive than inkjet refills. However, for the amount you are printing, you probably wont notice the difference in cost significantly.
I use a cheap monochrome HP laserjet M15w I bought from PC World

I use Brother laser printer (which we normally use for office works). A4 - 4 piece labels for EBAY shipping labels, Amazon FBA shipping labels and for FNSKU’s. I want to buy bespoke label printer when the time comes.
I copy paste from PDF’s to word file to match stickers layout.
How do you guys print FNSKU labels? Single page A4 sticker and cut?

Like others have said, there are a lot of options for the box labels but you can’t beat the old Zebra GK420, still the best around and you’ll be able to get one discounted to £180 when you open a Royal Mail account. For the FNSKU labels, I purchase sheets of 24-up A4 Sheets and run them through my laser printer, but an inkjet will do the same trick. For a good, reliable and cheap Mono Laser, have a look at the Brother HL-L2350DW, its what I started with.

I use a Brother QL700 for FNSKU and a Dymo 4XL for the address and FBA labels. Both do everything as you’d want. My wife also uses a Zebra, again equally as efficient.
The only diff between the 2 larger printers is the Dymo has a lot more software that comes in handy for your own products and other uses. The Zebra GK420 is able to be roller fed (like the Dymo) or via direct feed through the rear of the printer. Which is handy for the larger free rolls of labels or the fan-fold type.
If you want one printer to do both sized labels then maybe a Dymo Label Writer 450 Twin Turbo (sounds like it is petrol powered!) will allow 2 rolls (1 Large and 1 FNSKU size)to be used at the same time.

Brother QL-1100 (this one is wired but you can find the wireless version).
Non-official paper is not that expensive.

Mono lasers -
Stick with Brother (Best mono lasers around) - one that takes a TN2420 cartridge, should do you perfect as most economical to run (but printer is a bit pricier) - someone mentioned a HL-1112 - I think this takes a TN1050 cartridge (low yield) and not as economical as the TN2420 overall.
Avoid HP (Ink or laser) - they do constant firmware updates to lock out the use of non-original cartridges
Samsung - used to be as economical as Brother but last 5 years or so price remains constant, but yield size of cartridges much smaller these days - Like a mars bar! gets smaller but price stays the same.
Inkjet -
Canon individual tanks is my preferred choice - no silly firmware updates fromCanon for years! - but avoid ANY printer that only takes the two cartridges.
HP - avoid like the plague! as per note above - especially the business inkjet machines!
Brother - pretty nice and economical to print - if you can allow for the slightly larger footprint that an A3 printer takes up (and a few more quid) - the ink carts for the A3 are much larger capacity for only a little more (non-originals of course) - thus making it super cheap to run when only using A4 paper - I mean really cheap!
Epson - ok I guess, but sit a little below Brother in my opinion.
Overall - go for a laser if you can, no smudging, doesn’t mind periods of non-use unlike printer heads blocking in inkjets - avoid extreme cold as condensation can (rarely) be an issue sometimes.
Hope the above helps to clarify
PS - yes I’ve been in the industry 11+ years.

Zebra all day long for shipping labels. It’s simply the best I’ve ever used.
Any decent monochrome laser printer for everything else on Amazon.
