I see the referral fee for pet food is 5% for items priced at or up to £10 with a per-item minimum referral fee of £0.25.
If you've spoken with Seller Support, let me know your case ID and I can look at your ASINs.

You need to make sure that the node is listed correctly. I had same issue and had to email support. Go to Manage All Inventory where all your listings are. Find one listing where you know it is incorrect. scroll across to Calculate revenue, click the Calculate revenue. Where it shows the Referral Fee with a figure at the side of it showing you the current fee incurred. Click that figure and it will bring up a box tells you what actual category fee you are been charged for. It's likely though it's a pet product it could be listed under the home node and hence home fee etc etc
