What courier and service are you using? How is the tracking information being entered?

Are you using the full, externally trackable number or a shorthand internal tracking number?

Frequently couriers might give you a tracking slip with a ‘short’ tracking number on but it won’t be trackable externally. You need to use the long number that is associated with the barcode on the label.

Unless those are parcels that isn’t a valid tracking id

Royal Mail 2nd class only provides a delivery confirmation with parcels bought online, letters and large letters should be dispatched using stamps/franking.

EDIT: just checked a few numbers and Royal Mail is telling me “An update will only be provided when we attempt to deliver your item” so they must be parcels and the tracking (delivery confirmation) id is therefore correct and entered correctly.

(when putting in one for a letter I just posted it tells me “Tracking information is not available for this service”)

So it appears its the standard problem that Royal Mail don’t actually scan all these items properly. In which case Amazon have said that they will check with Royal mail if they are valid before they suspend you, you can safely ignore warning emails etc as the numbers are valid - assuming they are in fact all parcels of course

If they’re parcels then you don’t have to do anything. They’re on your report because they didn’t receive delivery scans, but Amazon will validate the numbers and so long as those failed scans are the only reason your VTR is low, you won’t have listings suspended.

If they’re letters/large letters, you shouldn’t be entering the tracking ID as those services don’t have delivery confirmation. You need to mark them as Stamps/Franking on Amazon, leaving the tracking ID box blank, and that will make them exempt. If you’re using something like Click and Drop, you need to either change the setting to not update Amazon with tracking info or you need to let it update then edit consignment on the order details page on Amazon.
