Is there a glitch today with the order page or is Amazon giving my stock away free?
Hi there, on my order pages today, there is no postage added and if someone buys multiple items the same the grand total is only 1 x the item with no postage charged. So for example if someone has purchased 4 x 2.99p items with 99p postage per item the grand total is being given as 2.99p not £11.96 plus postage. Is this a glitch, has anyone else noticed it on their order pages? Is Amazon giving my stock away is this the price the customer is being charged? This has only started this morning but it is on every order for items that I charge postage for and multiple orders. This is a bit worrying.

I've just cancelled an order as it was showing that the customer ordered two items but the grand total was shown as just one. Didn't want to take a chance and didn't want to wait for seller support to get back to me.
I tried buying the item myself and the order was showing as the correct price for two (although I didn't go through to payment)

We've had the same thing this afternoon, all orders coming through for multiple items are only showing a charge for one item??? And no postage charge showing at all. The email order confirmation shows the total for the multiple items without vat, but is then only showing vat for one item. I'm assuming a glitch??? But we can't afford to send the items out if we aren't getting the money for them!

This has also impacted some of our orders. So the two glitches are multiple orders, but only being charged one and then premium shipping orders not charging shipping.
Can we have a plan of action amazon? What was the root cause? What procedures have you put in place to prevent this happening again?
It looks like my affected orders where multiples have only been charged once are...

I have put together an email to seller support. I don't expect any enlightening responses - though I will post them here for fun.

I despatched one order this afternoon not realising the glitch.
It was for 2 items. The order page shows 1 item charged but the transaction view on the payment screen shows payment for 2 items . So it appears I have been paid the correct amount.
I think for the multiple order issue it may just be a display issue on the order page , at least it was for me on that one order

Yes I also reported this issue.
Order said Next Day delivery but there was no additional charge for the service (I charge for premium next day delivery in my shipping template).
Buy Shipping would not let me buy standard delivery so I had to send next day or cancel. In the end I sent CRL24 (Buy Shipping would let me buy that but not CRL48) even though I would normally send Special Delivery for such an upgrade.
Contacted Support on the issue and they (as per usual) failed to understand the problem and gave me instructions how to cancel an order if I had run out of stock. Totally irrelevant to the actual problem.

Hi,
We have had the same, ordered qty x 2 only charged for 1 as far as I can tell, so I cancelled the order

Yes, I had 4 orders that came through yesterday without a shipping charge. The first one I put through (didn't notice). The 2nd one, I checked the product page and various things at my end and it was still showing a shipping charge.
Raised an issue with Seller Support but they said that they couldn't check anything because the orders were for that day, so their system wouldn't have been updated.
Useless.
Anyhow, things *seem* to have gone back to 'normal'.

I currently have a case escalated where Amazon are charging the price of a single for x2. I have found 5 affected orders all where the customer has ordered 2 but only been charged for 1.
If it's the same issue we have then if you look at the order through 'Manage Orders' you will see that the correct amount is shown (ie - the price for 2), but then when you click onto the actual order, only charged for a single.
The issue seems to have been between 12-4pm yesterday for us. UK, DE and FR affected.
Will let you know what the outcome is on our end.
