How to open a european unified account
Hello,
I wanted to open a european unified seller account but somehow I opened a north american unified account. Seller support than added Europe to this account however they added UK as homemarketplace which is not correct in my case because I want to do EFN from Spain. Than they said that they can´t change the homemarketplace.
Finally they advised me to open a new account.
My concern is that I keep getting redirected to the North american (US, MX, CA) amazon seller registration page (or at least that´s what I suspect)
I start registration from here:
And I end up here:
When I´m asked for the vat number in this form they don´t use the european spanish term (CIF), they use the mexican term (RFC). This confuses me a lot and I think that I´m registering again for North America.
I also tried some troubleshooting steps:
-deleted cookies
-checked other browsers
-checked from other computer
But I always get the same registration page. It is so confusing that I end up in the “.com” domain. Shouldn´t I end up in the amazon.es domain?
Seller support confirmed me that it´s correct but I did the same process at my first registration as well and I ended up with a north american account.
Can someone advise me regarding this? How could I make sure that this time I get the registration right?

UK is still included in the EU unified marketplaces, as far as I know you don’t select a home marketplace within the EU, you can just select the EU marketplace you want to set up for on the top right when logged in to your EU unified account. Make sure you are logging in through: https://sellercentral-europe.amazon.com/
Do not try to create an additional account as this might get you in trouble, this is bad advice from SS.
