Brand changed for child asins
Hi,
I have a few parent listings that have 100+ variations I noticed from a couple of these some of the child items are now detached and the brand name has been changed to something completely different. I followed the advice and reported but the request has been declined.
I did notice after I reported the next day the child listings had reverted to the correct brand and attached back to parent but I have just noticed again they have detached again with the same brand that I spotted prior to reporting.

Yes, you are absolutely right — we’re facing the same issue.
We’ve been selling one of our listings through FBA for a long time under our registered brand "Smart Classic", and overnight, the brand name was changed without our authorization. We have not attempted to rebrand or modify the listing in any way.
In our case, the ASINs were originally created under Smart Classic, and in the Edit Listing view, the brand still appears correctly in the locked brand field. However, on the live product detail pages, the brand is now incorrectly showing as "YEVZYDC Store."
Even more concerning, when we visit the YEVZYDC Storefront, it redirects to our own storefront, "Smart Q Classic", which is registered under our account and brand. This suggests that the YEVZYDC entity may not only be hijacking our listings, but potentially trying to take control of our entire brand presence on Amazon.
If this situation continues unchecked, we risk losing our listings, brand identity, and potentially access to our Amazon account entirely. This appears to be a serious catalog manipulation issue, and we strongly urge Amazon to investigate and take action.

That's quite surprising — it's the same brand name "YEVZYDC Store " that our listings were also changed to. It seems more than just a coincidence and raises serious concerns about unauthorized catalog changes or potential manipulation.
We are currently trying to work with Amazon to resolve this, but seeing the same pattern across other sellers suggests this may be a well-organized attempt to take over high-performing ASINs.

@Julia_Amzn – Could you kindly check this internally or escalate it to the appropriate team at Amazon? This appears to be a broader issue that may require urgent attention from the Catalog Integrity or Brand Protection teams.
It looks like the "YEVZYDC Store" is systematically taking over listings from multiple sellers — and if not addressed promptly, many more listings could be affected in the coming days. Your support in investigating this matter would be greatly appreciated
@FS_Online_Trade
Could you please also notify the forum moderator from your end? Given the pattern we’re seeing, this appears to be a coordinated effort to take over high-performing ASINs, and it may need urgent attention from Amazon’s internal teams.
Your support in flagging this would be greatly appreciated.

Hello @Seller_pEGO9YjE8hL3x,
I hope you are well.
The partner team informed us that they cannot revert to the previous brand name because it is no longer active in the Brand Registry.
