Has Anyone else had Issues with Uploading Images via file upload?
As of late, 99.9% of the time when uploading an inventory file template spreadsheet, I get the following error on at LEAST one if not multiple rows.
We could not access the media at URL "example.jpeg". The download request timed out. Ensure that the URL is correct and the media is publicly accessible.
A few months ago, I started to get this error far more frequently, but the images in question would still process just fine in seller central, so I just ignored it. Now, I am getting the error for real and the images are not processing.
- The images are within policy. (Plain white backround, no logos/text/etc.)
- The URL is correct
- The Media is publicly accessible
- The file size is over 500x500
- File format is JPEG
- I have changed the URL, reformatted the files, changed the image sizes, reuploaded to a different directory, issue still persists.
This issue also appears to happen randomly...for example, if I upload the exact same template twice, it will sometimes process images that didnt process the first time, and fail to process images that processed successfully the first time. Or sometimes it'll have zero image errors, I'll go in and changed an unrelated box (such as price or quantity), suddenly every image has an error.
I consider myself slightly above average skill with utilizing these inventory file upload spreadsheets. I only say this because although I appreciate all advice, I do not need basic troubleshooting tips that I can read in the template instructions. I need to know if this is only happening to me, or if its Amazons image servers that are timing out, not my own.
My Images load within a fraction of a second on any computer/network I use when clicking on the URLs, so I don't know what gives. I've been using the same image server/directory for years with no problem until now, storage nowhere near full. Any ideas why else I could be getting this error? Thank you for your time.

Hi there @Seller_lvuvlhmPBgEbp - thanks for the post and I am sorry to hear of these difficulties. As it sounds like you've completed frontline troubleshooting tasks like clearing cache/cookies or attempting to upload via a different file type and different browser, I'd recommend screenshotting the error(s) and creating a case with Seller Support. They will review as troubleshooting these errors sometimes requires technical assistance.
If you need additional help after working with support, you can share your case ID with me and I'll look to escalate internally as well.
Thanks and let me know what else I can do to help!

I have had this same issue for two years now and seller central has been of zero help. No one can figure out why they are timing out. The files are accessible and load just fine on all other platforms. It is only Amazon with this issue and no one can seem to fix the problem.
