Account deactivated - we were told it was a VAT issue, so we sorted that out - but still our account is deactivated

About a month ago we got a notification that we needed to submit info to Amazon showing that our company operates out of the UK for VAT reasons. We submitted all of this information, however, our bank does not provide signed stamped statements so what we provided was rejected. We kept trying alternatives but all rejected, so we went down the path of getting Amazon to pay our VAT for us instead, and paid backdated VAT so we could simply move forward. All the while the messages stated that we could continue selling

Then suddenky our UK seller account was shut down and the only notice we received back when we asked why was this:

Hello,

We reviewed your account and the information you provided, and we have decided that you may not open a selling on Amazon account.

Why did I receive this message?

You cannot sell on Amazon.co.uk and Amazon European stores if you do not have a selling on Amazon account.

If you register any new accounts, we may also decline them.

The Amazon Payments team

Amazon Payments UK Limited, a private company limited by shares, is a company registered in England and Wales (registration number 11049457; VAT number: GB295 7604 60) with its registered office at 1 Principal Place, Worship St, London, EC2A 2FA, United Kingdom. Amazon Payments UK Limited is authorised by the UK Financial Conduct Authority under the Payment Services Regulations 2017 (reference number 799814) for the provision of payment services.

We called and were told it was because of the VAT issue. The VAT issue how now been fully rectified and paid up and Amazon is good with our VAT standing, but still our account is deactivated. What's worse is that our linked Canadian account has also been deactivated

We have asked time and time again why we are not allowed to have a seller account on Amazon UK, and each time we get the same answer. If we knew what the issue was we could at least start to rectify it, but nothing

Can anyone give us some advice on how to overcome this dead end? Is there a way to get Amazon to simply answer the question: Why has my account been deactivated and what do I need to do to reactivated it?

Thanks
