Competitor lifted images and description from us
We created a listing back in 2014 (we create our own brand registered trademarked product namely personalised stickers we designed) . A competitor has created a new listing for a similar type of product with a slightly different design, which is fine. However, lazily they’ve just lifted our product’s description, and three of our non-main images one of which we created, and two which show our product applied to a customers toy, the photos taken from a review a customer left us for our product. Sadly its not clear enough to show the branding on the product though.
I’m guessing they’re probably not breaking any policy and not much we can do but just want to check the hive mind here.

They are definitely infringing on policy, the game is proving it.

Note: When you add your copyrighted image to a product detail page, you grant Amazon and its affiliates a licence to use the material. Other sellers can list their items for sale on pages to which you have added your copyrighted images, even if you no longer sell that product. To ensure that you are not violating someone’s copyrights, make sure that you only upload images or text that you have created yourself or for which you have the copyright holder’s permission to upload.
They do not have the copyright to the images they have used so are not permitted to upload them for use in another listing.

I think in the past there has been a number of sellers saying it would be nice if photographs can be watermarked but it something Amazon do not allow. Like you we do find our photographs on this and other online platforms.

I had this, I contacted the seller direct with a friendly message and they removed our images quite quickly without having to take it further.
