Listings under incorrect brand name

Hi,

Made an honest mistake in an upload sheet and used the wrong brand name on two ASINs. These products need to be listed correctly as they are very important for our catalogue. In the past when this has happened, we were completely locked from changing the brand name because we are only resellers no matter what evidence we provided. Even stating that it was also against Amazon's guidelines to mislead customers with wrong brand names.

I already have a case going but I am already getting Amazon's auto-response that we can change this value because it is locked.

This is for two ASINs B0H95GK3GP and B0H95C2X9Y

Is there any mods that can help with the case? Seller support are going to take too long and it is urgent.

Still struggling with this issue, is there any Mods?

Is there any mods that can help with the case? I have an active case but I am just getting automated replies that I am not the brand owner to make the correction

Hello @Seller_nBOoM3pBs6Kuo,

Thanks for posting on Forums. I've reviewed your case and understand the concern — having a product listed under an incorrect brand is misleading and something that needs correcting.

However, per Amazon's Brand Name Policy, changing the brand attribute on an existing ASIN is treated as re-branding and is not permitted through standard support channels. This applies even when the original brand was entered in error. Your best options moving forward are:

Report the listing as a violation — since the product is incorrectly attributed to "Disney," you can report this via Report a Violation in Seller Central. This flags it to the appropriate team as incorrect catalogue data rather than a brand change request.

Create a new ASIN — if the violation report doesn't resolve it, creating a new listing with the correct brand name ("KPop Demon Hunters") is the cleanest path forward.

For either path, having your product documentation ready (invoices, supplier info) will help support your case. If you need further assistance after trying these steps, follow up here with your case ID and I'll look into it.
