Amazon saying my barcodes won't scan.

I’ve had a few warnings in the last few weeks regarding the barcodes for a product I’m selling in all 3 colors. They are saying they are either incorrect, missing or won’t scan. ( they are mainly saying they won’t scan)
I’ve never encountered this problem before and checked and rechecked my barcodes, indeed one of the colors I got a warning for only today is for a batch I’ve been sending in for over 12 months with no problems.
I’ve gone over the barcodes I have and they are all correct and they all scan.
I’m at at my wits end how to resolve this as all the barcodes are the same as normal.
Is anyone else encountering this problem?

Yes, I have seen an uptick "Barcode cannot be scanned" problems. After never having any problems for the previous 5 years, we have 2 in the past 4 months.
I don't have one open now, so I can't recall the exact sequence. When you click to resolve the issue, there is a tab or a link to dispute the issue. After double checking in your warehouse that the barcodes do scan - go ahead and tell Amazon that you have double checked and that the barcodes are scannable.
They will double check with the fulfillment center and let you know the results. This is what we did the last time it happened a few weeks ago. Amazon did check and see that the barcodes were scannable. They then removed the problem from our shipment performance metrics.

I've heard of FBA having more and more issues scanning barcodes that are printed on a glossy surface.

Andy, did you have any luck problem solving this? In the last 2 weeks I have had a slew of shipment performance dings for 'barcode cannot be scanned', and we have never had a single one in 6 years and we label over 50,000 FBA items a year. It's only part of some quantities shipped in, like say 120 sent in, 19 say won't scan. We are a small operation, we haven't missed labels, and we have been randomly scanning all labels off the same printer with no problems found.

Has there been any progress on why this is happening more often for sellers? We are suddenly getting a slew of these from FTW1 when we have never had a SINGLE scan issue in 6 yrs where we label 50,000 FBA items a year. Same printer and label brands, we have been scanning everything we are printing now and cannot identify where the problem is coming from. I have disputed them and asked for additional information, but they are all still pending or were closed with no further information. Its random counts, like shipped in 240 of this ASIN, 19 not scannable (oddly enough, its like 17, 19, and 21 are the numbers that keep coming up).
