Brazil marketplace
Hello!
Recently, the Brazil marketplace has become available in our seller account. Unfortunately, we still can't use the Remote fulfillment Program for this marketplace. Support said that we need to have a TAX ID or something for it. But as we know, it is possible to sell remotely in Brazil, even if you are not a resident of Brazil, but have a US company.
Could you help us with that?

Hi @Seller_npI6nmo8BFSF9,
I understand your frustration about not being able to use Remote Fulfillment for Brazil yet. Let me help explain what might be needed.
According to the Registration Requirements help page, US-based sellers need three things to sell in Brazil:
- A North America and Brazil Unified Account
- A legal US address
- A valid US bank account
For Remote Fulfillment specifically, the Remote Fulfillment with FBA help page mentions you'll need to be a Professional seller registered for FBA in both the US and Brazil, with FBA Export enabled on your North America Unified Account.
The tax ID requirement support mentioned likely relates to customs compliance. In the "Brazilian regulatory requirements" section of the Brazil Tax and Regulatory Considerations help page, sellers need to ensure proper customs clearance documentation and handle import tax and ICMS (state level tax) remittance to carriers.
Since setting this up can be complex, you might want to check out Amazon's Service Provider Network (under Apps and Services > Explore Services) - they have partners who specialize in helping sellers navigate international requirements.
Best regards, Michael
