Individual Seller Status
I am definitely an individual seller. I only want to sell my own books and expect to make less than £100 if I am lucky. I used to be registered as an individual then for no reason Amazon changed it. Now I am I’m a never ending automated circle where Amazon tell me I am not an individual and must register as a sole trader or a company. I tell them why I disagree and then the robots say the same thing again. This has now been going on for months and then out of the blue I got another email from them this morning asking me to prove I was an individual and then saying 8 was t and suspending m6 account again. Has anyone else has this? Is there a way of speaking to a human?

Have you ever listed one of those books as new? If so, that’ll be a trigger for Amazon.

Ah - OK. It was a mistaken double purchase. That explains why they started asking questions then but I’ve now answered them umpteen times saying I’m only selling my own books and they are relentless. If only I could speak to a human being.

What are your lifetime sales on the account? Is it an old account that has racked up thousands in sales over the years or always just a hundred pounds a year type of thing?

Hi Evelyn,
If you are a non-UK resident the individual legal entity is not permitted.
Also, I see this account you are posting from is new, could it have been linked to a previous one resulting in the suspension?
