why amazon charged me when i have just signed up as an individual account?

hello everyone, i have just created my amazon seller account as an individual account but they have charged me 48.39 dollars for nothing.. i have written them email , and thats what they replied,'We have charged your credit card for $48.39 in an attempt to settle your Amazon seller account balance.

Note that the amount charged to your credit card may be less than the total amount you owe due to a credit limit imposed by your bank. If that is the case, we will continue to charge your card as often as every 24 hours until the remaining balance in your Amazon seller account is paid in full.'

i am confused.. why they are charging me for nothing?

Hello @Seller_R4DWgnxOK9Mbn,

I was able to review your selling account and I can confirm it is a Professional account.

If you do not want a Professional account, you may go to Seller Central. From there, click on the "gear" icon in the upper right hand corner of the page, and select "Account Info." From that page, you will see a section for 'Services' and you can click on "Manage" and from the next page you can downgrade to an Individual account.

After you have done that, you can open a new case with Seller Support and request a refund of the fee.
