How To Use New Workflow That Appears Broken to Ship to FBA

Hi!

I’m trying to send a shipment to FBA as I have for years. All my shipments are always mixed SKU boxes.
When I’ve tried to do this, an unfamiliar new screen has appears which looks significantly more complex than the previous one, and which doesn’t allow me to add any products.

I’ve watched the Seller University tutorial that is provided on the page. It’s extremely difficult to follow as it’s an audio track without closed captions/subtitles, but it appears to be telling me to select ‘individual units’ under ‘packing details’.

This would make sense, but there is no option for ‘individual units’ under any of the SKUs drops downs under ‘packing details’.

The options are ‘AGFS_STA_PackingDetail_MixedSKUPacking’ and ‘Create New Case Pack Template’. Neither of the two options allows me to specify any quantity in the quantity column on the far right-hand side. They all have a dash in them and are uneditable.

Am I doing something wrong, or is this just broken?

Has anyone found the same issue? Is there a workaround to go back to the previous intuitive and simple system?

Do you not see a message at the top of the screen which allows you to select the old version of the workflow?

We have tried to use it but it’s a nightmare. When you first go to create the shipment, on the page where you can ‘add to existing’ or ‘create new shipment’ there is a box on the right hand side which says ‘Go back to previous workflow’. Just click that and it takes you back.

Click on ‘Prep & Labeling Details Needed’ and complete it, it should activate the quantity box

I create my shipments by starting with the Restock screen. But that won’t allow me to create one shipment from multiple Restock screens. It creates two workflows both listing only the last page of SKUs from Restock. What am I missing?

I have to say, I have been playing around with the new system quite a bit and, whilst at first it was completely unworkable for me and I hated it, I now quite like it.

The thing I found the most confusing was not being able to add SKU’s to the pre-selected list once generated which is what you used to do but you just go to ‘ALL FBA INVENTORY’ and add them to the shipment from there.

It took me quite a bit of getting used to, I know we all hate change, but I do actually think it’s an improvement now. (Cannot believe I actually typed that!! :joy::joy:)

They have made “send to amazon” workflow mandatory…I will literally have to stop sending FBA shipments as the new workflow is un-usable, it requires more input, more boxes and more knowledge among a greater staff team…All in all …COSTS US WAY MORE IN ADMIN COSTS
