Vtr what do i do

Customer ordered an expensive item, it has been attempted to be delivered 7 times, tracked. No reply to numerous messages, i contacted seller support for advice got utter gibberish.
What can indo so i dont take a hit on my metrics.
Yes i can refund but then im out of pocket a lot of money on the hopes the item comes back eventually which is no guarantee. But even if i refund does that placate the vtr.
Its a nightmare.
Any constructive advice.

Non delivery doesn’t affect VTR
VTR is measured by the tracking you add at despatch - not delivery

If I were you, I’d get the courier to return it to you and only refund then
7 delivery attempts is the most I’ve ever heard of

If it’s a valuable item, are you using a fully tracked service, that you can book an appointment with for redelivery?
If so, then I would give the customer a call and make some sort of arrangement with them first.

Although you are not allowed to contact customers, your courier can phone them.
So your basically doing the same thing.
Strictly speaking, it’s against the rules, but for a delivery, it’s a bit of a grey area.
