When will Amazon charge my credit card?
My fees are usually taken out of my balance but this month the fees exceeded the balance available and Amazon tried to charge my credit card unsuccessfully.
I recently added a limit to all credit card transactions that would require additional confirmation.
I didn’t realise this but Amazon was not able to charge my card and I received the following email:
Your Amazon.co.uk account has been deactivated due to your outstanding balance of -122.58 GBP in GB. You may not continue to sell on Amazon and your listings have been removed. Please ship any open orders to avoid further impact to your account. Why is this happening? You have a negative balance of -122.58 GBP in GB on your Amazon account and the account has been deactivated in accordance with section 3 of the Amazon Business Solutions Agreement.

If you need to update the charge method on file, select Account Info in the Settings section of Seller Central at https://sellercentral.amazon.co.uk/hz/sc/account-information. Then click Charge Methods to update your payment information.
How do I reactivate my account?
To reactivate your account, please pay the balance due on your account. You can pay your balance by wire transfer. To pay by wire transfer, please follow the instructions at the bottom of this message.
What happens if I do not pay the balance due?
If you do not pay the negative balance on your account, your account will remain deactivated until the negative balance is resolved. We may continue to attempt to charge your account and to contact you regarding this negative balance.
I’ve increased my bank limits and made sure that there were enough funds on the account. I’ve also updated the credit card details in hopes Amazon would charge once again.
They haven’t charge me yet.
When I go into the Payments section and press Repay Balance I get the following error:
" Balance repayments page is currently unavailable. To ensure that any balance due on your account can be charged automatically, please update the credit card details in Charge methods page."
Will Amazon charge me tomorrow? Do they only charge once in a 24 hour period?
