Correcting listing page by deleting and relisting with new ASINs?

My family of products listing of 10 years has somehow been corrupted. Now some variants have someone else's brand name and other info details that are not correct. A Amazon Help Rep. agrees but suggested I delete entire family and re-list with new ASIN's because some attribute cells are bad/frozen and cannot be corrected. I was told if I use my same parent & child SKU # and same GS1 UPC number for each varient in the new listing, I will NOT loose the 1000+ 4-5 star reviews I have earned over the last several years.... IS THAT CORRECT? It would be devistating to loose those reviews just because I need to correct/update my listings. They say reviews do not follow ASIN but will follow old SKU and UPC to the new corrected listing and I will be fine... Is that correct? Freaks me out to think I might loose my reviews?? Thoughts?

Good Afternoon @Seller_u0RurWdg93ujy,

Thank you for reaching out to us on the Amazon Seller Forums. I'd be happy to start taking a look into why the brand name updated unexpectedly on some of your listings.

Could you please share the related CASE ID you worked with Selling Partner Support on? I look forward to hearing back from you soon.

Sincerely, Cooper_Amazon
