Need help updating your MAIN images to a white background?
MAIN images on white background are required across Amazon
Listings with missing MAIN images or failure to meet imaging guidelines past the June 30th, 2021 deadline, may result in the removal of your ASIN from search results.
What are the requirements?
- MAIN images must have a pure white background. Pure white blends in with the Amazon search and product detail pages. RGB colour values of 255, 255, 255.
- MAIN images must be high quality photographs of the actual product. Graphics, illustrations, mockups, or placeholders are not allowed. They must not show excluded accessories or props that might confuse the customer.
- MAIN images must not include text, logos, borders, colour blocks, watermarks, or other graphics over the top of a product or in the background.
How does having my listing on White Background impact my business?
- Improves product’s discoverability. Increase opportunities to appear in Amazon search results and in marketing campaigns that require white backgrounds.
- Provides the customer a better shopping experience. Customers will quickly be able to understand your product.
- Aids in buying decision. Highlights clear high quality imagery and improves credibility of your product on Amazon.
- Add lifestyle images as alternative images. Don’t dispose of your other images! We recommend adding at least 4 alternative lifestyle images to help the customer envision your product in their everyday life!
