Can i give a phone bill when they ask for 'Utility Bill'?
Hi,
First of i all I live with my parents in the Netherlands. So my parents pay the gas bills etc of course.
I got a message that I need to give a utility bill & business licence. The business licence is no problem, but can I also give my monthly phone bill for utility bills? Does that count too? And do I have to give that bill in English? Or does the language of the bill not matter.
On the site of Amazon, I see that you can give ‘Internet service & Telecom’. So if I am correct, I can give my monthly phone bill.
But I saw on some forums that they rejected phone bills, that’s why I am scared, i don’t want to deliver something wrong and get on the blacklist.
On that bill there needs to be these things right:
- My name (not company name right, only my real name)
- Address
Thank you very much!

If you are referring to a mobile phone bill then no, that will not be good enough.
You need a landline bill to meet requirements.
You could always offer to put the electric gas or water bill in your own name, I’m sure your parents wouldn’t mind
